Band Booster FAQ's
How do I join the Band Boosters? Every parent is already a member of our booster program. The best way to get involved is to attend meetings, and volunteer to help! The more people that volunteer the less work everybody has to do. How do the Band Boosters support the band? The Sulphur Springs Band Boosters raise funds to help support the band program, buy needed equipment, and fund other projects to lessen the burden on individual students, parents, and the school district overall. We also provide numerous volunteer hours to help support the band. What do you need volunteers for? We have many volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. The biggest fund raiser we do is running the Home and Visitor concession stand at football games. We need volunteers to help set-up and run the stand every Friday night home game, and playoff games. We also provide snacks for the band students throughout summer band, and during third quarter of football games. We have volunteers help move props during football games and contests, help iron and hem band uniforms, and pick up meals for the students during contest events.
